Vanaf woensdag 20 april zal het Spoorpark voor het eerst in jaren weer dé plek zijn voor de Roadburn Camping. Duizenden festivalbezoekers uit binnen- en buitenland komen dan naar Tilburg voor hét festival voor ‘heavy muziek’ in vele soorten. Het festival vindt plaats van donderdag 21 t/m zondag 24 april in o.a. Poppodium 013, de Koepelhal en Paradox.
De Roadburn camping opent op woensdag 20 april om 12.00 uur de poorten voor kamperende festivalgangers. Om onze bezoekers welkom te heten zal er op woensdag een muzikaal programma aangeboden worden op het Roadburn Camping Foodcourt op het Oostplein van het Spoorpark. In de middag en vroege avond het vinyl DJ duo ‘Railroad Radiow’ en in de avonduren livemuziek van de coverband ‘The Alternative’. Het foodcourt van de Roadburn Camping is voor iedereen gratis toegankelijk.
Railroad Radiow op Roadburn Camping
Railroad Radiow is een vinyl DJ-duo bestaande uit Bart en Steven; 2 vinylfreaks uit Goirle. Ze verzamelen muziek uit veel verschillende muzikale stromingen, maar de nadruk ligt op zware muziek. Van doom tot afrobeat, van stoner tot jazz en van ingetogen tot straight in your face. Hiermee proberen ze recht te doen aan waar de bands van nu vandaan komen.
Het dj duo Railroad Radiow draait op woensdag, donderdag én zaterdag vanaf vinyl op de Roadburn camping.
The Alternative live op woensdagavond
The Alternative (foto boven) is een 5-koppige coverband uit Rotterdam. Hun setlist bestaat uit een zorgvuldige selectie van covers van enkele van de beste alternatieve rocknummers uit de jaren 90 en 2000. Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Foo Fighters en Arctic Monkeys, gemixt met Volbeat, The Hives, Muse en Radiohead. Als je zin hebt in een avond vol geweldige alternatieve rockhits, dan is dit jouw band. Zing mee met Black, schreeuw je longen uit tijdens The Pretender en dans op de zoete klanken van Supermassive Black Hole. Feest gegarandeerd.

Railroad Radiow
Railroad Radiow is a vinyl DJ duo consisting of Bart and Steven; 2 vinyl freaks who live near Tilburg. They collect music from many different musical movements, but the main focus is on heavy music. From doom to afrobeat, stoner to jazz and from subdued to straight in your face. In doing so, they try to do justice to where today’s bands originate.
The DJ duo Railroad Radiow plays vinyl at the Roadburn campsite on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The Alternative is a 5-piece cover band from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Their set list consists of a hand-picked selection of covers from some of the best 1990’s and 2000’s alternative rock songs.
